Pang Taisong

was born in Yulin City, Guangxi Province. He is now a member of the Chinese Artists Association, and a professional painter of the Guangzhou Painting Studio. After graduation from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1964, he concentrated on landscape painting.

 

For years, he carried out extensive researches and created a body of fine and distinctive paintings. His landscape paintings, especially clouds and water, are famous for his bold brush strokes and magnificent qualities.  His paintings have been widely displayed in China’s Mainland, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. In 1988 he was awarded the prize of the best painting at the Sino-Japanese Art Exchange exhibition and became a member of the Sino-Japanese Art Association. In 1989 and 1992, he staged a solo exhibition in Taipei and Hong Kong.
