Qin Tianzhu
male, born in 1952, is a native of Chengdu, Sichuan province. He is now a member of the Chinese Artists Association and committee member of its Sichuan branch and a professional artist at the Sichuan Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Studio.
Qin taught himself to be an artist. With the exquisite composition and classic coloring, his works are succinct, lucid and lively. The themes of his works are so broad as from insect among the grass to the great eagle in the vast sky. He advocates making a comment out of personal feeling and infusing all his passion for life and philosophies into his paintings. Qin has form a unique artistic style of elegance and vivid which exert influence among the circle of Chinese Flower-and-Bird genre paintings.
Qin has held many solo and join exhibitions in Chengdu, Nanjing, Beijing, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. His works won prizes at the Sichuan Art Exhibition and Sichuan Chinese Paintings Exhibition, also he won the prize of Merit at the Selected Contemporary Modern Ink and Wash Paintings Exhibition in Japan. Some of his works were collected by the Chinese National Art Gallery, Jiangsu Art Gallery, Shenzhen Museum and Art Gallery in Japan, Culture Center of San Franciscl and the Imperial Palace of the King in Thailand.
