was born in 1952 in Tangshan City, Heibei Province. In 1978 he graduated from the Heibei Industrial Arts School. Currently he is a member the Chinese Artists’ Association.

Qin has painted since childhood and devoted himself to studying and exploring painting. He made great innovation in traditional Chinese painting and has formed a natural and novel aesthetic style. His works combine the traditional Chinese painting with elements of western art to create works entirely original and contemporary. His dream-like paintings impress audience with a sense of mystery and spirit, especially the light effects and oil texture.

Many of his works have been shown at the regional and national art exhibitions and well received by audience.
