Zhao Zhunwang

was born in Beijing in 1944. He is now a member of the Chinese Artists Association and Beijing Landscape Painting Research Association.

 

Nurtured by his family from childhood, he earnestly loves painting. He studied in Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Painting Academy under the supervision of Mr. Ya Ming about painting technique and learned a lot from veteran painter Cui Zifan. His landscapes are characterized by crepuscular water and fresh ink. Capturing the painting rhythm in random and echoing the conspicuous parts with emptiness, his paintings are creative with apparent personal style.

 

In recent years, he has held many painting exhibitions and attended art academic activities in China and abroad. He was awarded the Grand Prize in the National Painting Exhibition Jointly sponsored by Hong Kong and Shenzhen in 1988. Currently, he is residing in the United States and takes up teaching and artistic creation.
