Male, born in Jinjiang, Fujian Province in 1942. He is now a member of the Standing Committee of Chinese Artists Association, Guangdong Branch, and professional painter at Guangdong Painting Studio. He is rated national first-class artist.

 

In 1963 he graduated from the Middle School of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Art. Then, he joined the Guangdong Painting Studio as a professional painter.

 

His paintings have synthesized the techniques of decorative design and wooden sculpture but without losing the richness and expressive power of traditional ink and brush.

 

Most of his works depict his special feeling for the rural life of southern China, capturing the quiet beauty through careful composition, fresh colors and the rich use of ink.

 

He has held solo and group exhibitions in Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, etc. Several of his works are collected by the National Museum of Art in China, Nanjing Art Museum and Tianjing art Museum.
