1954年生於遼寧省。
1982年就讀魯迅美術學院，師從周玉瑋；1989年於中央美術學院油畫研修班學習；1990年至今長期從事油畫創作。
在藝術的道路上不斷探尋、思考、錘煉，不斷昇華自己的創作。作品具有自然灑脫，雋永雅逸的特點，形成了個性化的語言。被多次邀請參加國內外大展，多次參加藝術博覽會，成績斐然。許多作品被國內國際知名人士和機構收藏。

Dong was born in Liaoning Province in 1954. He entered in Lu Xun Academy of Fine Art in 1982. He has committed himself to oil paintings since 1990. He keeps on exploring the art, thinking and constantly sublimate his own creation. Works with natural and easy, timeless characteristics of Bonaparte, forming a personalized language. He was invited to participate in numerous domestic and international exhibitions, has participated in art fairs success. Many works by national and international personalities and institutions.
