This work continues my theme of creation, the series of rhythms of cities. The subway is a miniature of our metropolis, with people of all walks of life swarming in it. It is the miniature of metropolis, and the miniature of society.
This work expresses the pressure and compressed existence of metropolitan life using very modular and absurd scenarios.
The compartment is like the campus we just graduated from, and outside it is the society. People born in the 80s rushed
out of the campus and into the society, facing new challenges. I carried my camera (in the lower left corner) and recorded life of my fellow students and friends of the generation born in the 80s, their vicissitude of life, their happiness,
anger and sadness, their personal values, their philosophy of life, their sexual orientations, etc.. By an absurd mode of expression, this work reveals the metropolitan life of the generation born in the 80s.
