1970年生於天津。
畢業於天津美術學院，1994年在中央美術學院油畫系進修，現居住於北京，職業畫家。
他的作品以象徵化的肖像為題。他從生活中提煉和昇華可見的圖像，使之符號化而納入創作中，再透過有安排的組合來體現人的心理活動或表達藝術概，有趣、帶神秘主義而賦含深意。
1997年參加中國第二屆油畫靜物展；l998年參加「新蛻變」天津油畫家提名展；1998年參加美國、加拿大、中國藝術家作品巡展；1999年參加香港邀請展；2001年參加「深呼吸」四人油畫作品展；2002年參加北京國際藝術博覽會；2003年參加「攜手新世紀」中國第三屆油畫展。近年
的展覽包括有2007年美國紐約亞洲當代藝術展；2008年韓國MJ美術館個人作品展；2009年美國邁阿密藝術博覽會；2010年丹麥哥本哈根國際藝術博覽會；2011年北京798鼎峰畫廊個人新作品展等。

Born in 1970 in Tianjin City, graduated from the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1992 and furthered his studies in the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1994. Currently he is a professional artist, lives in Beijing.

Mr Li’s works use a kind of symbolical and even mystical representations to express the psychology of human. He simplifies images into symbols, which seem to be arranged and combined according to some rules.

畫面的情景好似游離在現實與非現實之間，就像你我時常面對鏡子觀察自己的每個面部細節，問自己是否老去。但是結果總是不置可否。因為時間的久遠真的讓歲月沖淡了對年少的記憶。畫面中的人物正是我們每個人，而占滿整個畫的鏡子卻似被時間消逝而變得模糊，從而為畫中人物注入許多故事與回憶，又似乎是畫外的觀者成為作品的一部分。作品中的偶人確成為永恆。但它永遠不知它是誰從哪裡來又到哪裡去！作品中盆景可能是偶人理想的世界它們彼此無意的置身於現實,無意中確又讓自己成為了超現實，不知是我們改變了世界還是世界改變了我們，只有那沉舊鏡框伴隨著我們見證著時光的留逝。

The scene I wanted to create much likes a mirror reflecting what are coexisting in reality and virtual space, from the
mirror, you might always asking the another half of you if you are getting older than before, the wrinkles do tell something,
but the mirror just staring back at you without a concrete answer. The memory of the past, the teenage life more exactly, was faded out because of the running of time. What appear on the scene I depicted are the reflections of every one of us, the memories and stories of our own are injected into the painting until the inside world is fully occupied, we viewer are part of it. The puppets in my painting are living in another time and space that parallel to ours, no one will know the origin, or if there is an end, probably the miniature shows them the Utopia just by coincidence. I am not sure if the world has changed us or we have changed the world except that the old frame is the witness all along.
