一次偶然，他发现了自然界的抽象肌理，启迪他独辟蹊径，促使他创造了崭新的彩拓画技法，创作出一系列如梦如幻的山水画。在他的画作中，幻化的水、墨、彩，交织成迷离莫测的山脉和河流；其肌理和色调均自然天成、浑厚淋漓、气势磅礡，仙境般令人沉醉。
近年来，他曾先后在北京中国美术馆、上海、广州、台湾等地举办个人画展，作品「岁月」、「永恒的断片」、「粗犷的拂晓」被中国画研究院收藏。1996年中国艺术博览会荣获优秀作品奖，其后多次参加国内外各项展览并获奖。作品在《美术》、《中国艺术》、《人民画报》、《人民日报》、《中国文化报》、香港《中国画报》、台湾《艺术家》、《艺术新闻》、《新朝艺术》等数十家艺术媒体上发表报导；亦多次被著名国际拍卖公司选拍。
The renowned Chinese artist Qin Lisheng was born in 1952 in Tangshan City, Hebei Province. In 1978 he graduated from the Hebei Industrial Arts School. Currently he is a member of the Chinese Artists’ Association.
Inspired by the texture and nature of existences in our surroundings, he created landscape paintings with an innovative way using the method of ink and color rubbings. In his paintings, the water, ink and color pigment interweave the illusory landscape of mountain ranges and rivers. The formation is natural and novel, presenting a style which is free from inhibition, magical, natural and powerful.
His original, dream-like paintings impress the audience with a sense of mystery and artistic conception. He has held solo exhibitions at Beijing Art Museum, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Taiwan. His works have won numerous awards, now collected by Chinese Painting Institution and selected by international auction house. Media coverage was wide across the nation.
