《Postmodernism - New Contemporary Art Show》             26.4.2013 – 5.5.2013

When it comes to art, we all feel like art making is always a myth, and something unattainable. ‘Affordable art’ is the new concept emerging in recent years. It breaks down our prejudice on art, closing the gap between art and the public with an approachable price. Wan Fung Art Gallery proudly presents to you the ‘Postmodernism - New Contemporary Art Show’ from 26 April- 5 May in Hong Kong Wan Fung Art Gallery. The Exhibition features more than 50 pieces of paintings from more than 30 artists.

These artists have had a significant influence on postmodern-inspired art and have emphasized the possibilities of new forms of creativity. They paint in their own way and show the expression of civilized life nowadays. Among all, most of them are active internet users. They absorb information happening around the world and exchange art experiences in the internet,  in conjunction with the concept of creation, their artwork echoes the vicissitudes of life in today''''s modern society.  Therefore, this is a rare and beautiful moment which we can feel so close to art.
