Wan Fung Art Gallery proudly presents, the “Abstract Imagery...Painting Exhibition of Liu Keming” from 7 - 18 September in Hong Kong Wan Fung Art Gallery. The exhibition showcases more than 40 paintings of Liu. His special painting technique, which was inspired by both the Chinese and the West, refreshes every art lovers. The extract of Chinese painting and abstract imageries are demonstrated perfectly by his works. The opening ceremony will start at 4pm on 7th September, with refreshment served.

Liu Keming is named as ‘Chinese Picasso’ because of his colorful and abstract painting style. He loves creating new forms of life on Chinese rice paper by fusing daily inspirations and his own thoughts together. With many bright, vivid shades, Liu tells you sort of tales undisclosed by hundreds of faces on paintings. His works are all unique and stylish, which need us to feel by our true heart.

Many supporters for Liu’s paintings mentioned that, his works are abstract but sentimental, with loads of fluctuating emotions. To deeply understand his artworks, one should undeniably read Liu’s visual language by a true eye and soul. Do not miss this fabulous art exhibition with untold and silent stories.

Biography of Liu Keming:

Male, was born in 1962 in Beiijng. He is now a professional artist in Beijing.

In 1985 he was graduated from the Traditional Chinese Painting Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts and obtained his bachelor degree in Art. In 1987, he studied in Bade Art Institute in New York for two years for his master degree.

Liu Keming''''''''s works absorb the concepts of modern art based on the traditional Chinese painting language. He draws his inspiration from daily life and adds on his own views and feelings. He unceasingly pursues the perfection of the use of lines and colors, and has painted a lot of elegant and romantic works, which are popular worldwide.

In 1988 he became the contract artist of the famous Reral Gallery in New York. In 1989, he held his solo exhibition in Rece Gllery at Manhattan, New York and some works were purchased by an anchorman of NBC TV Station. In the same year, Liu became one of the chief artists of the Studio. In 1989, he held his solo show in Denver, US. Since 1989, he took part in the World Art Exhibition and won the Silver Award.
