Wan Fung Art Gallery proudly presents to you the “Eternity - Oil Painting Tour Exhibition of Wu Jaili Hong Kong” from 18 - 31 May in Hong Kong Wan Fung Art Gallery. The exhibition showcases nearly 40 photorealistic paintings of Wu Jaili. The special painting technique demonstrated by Wu will surely impress every art lovers. The opening ceremony will start from 5pm 18 May. Public are welcome to join and meet Mr. Wu Jiali in person.
Photograph or painting? This would probably be a question raised by everyone who had seen the works of Wu Jiali. With the excellent painting skills Wu presented the still life in the effect of light, colors and 3 - dimensional space. When you gaze upon the fruits and musical instruments in the paintings, change and movement are frozen in time. Wu deceives the audience with color and brushes. When you are watching the juicy fruits in Wu’s painting, you better bear in mind that it’s a fake world depicted by Wu and stop salivating.
“The selection of harvest and musical instruments as my main theme was based on the memories those I strive to keep; I want to show the joy of harvest and the simple rural rapport. Saxophone’s metallic texture and beautiful shape touched me. I felt as if it is playing music just for me, communicating with resonance in my heart, which greatly aroused my passion for creation. I kept drawing and drawing and resulted in the collection of ‘The Harvest’ and ‘The Western Musical Instruments’.” according to Wu.
Photorealism painting exhibition is rarely seen in Hong Kong. The paintings of Wu Jiali are new and exciting to all Hong Kong art lovers. Wan Fung Art Gallery proudly introduces Wu Jiali, the outstanding photorealism painting artist to Hong Kong.

Biography of Wu Jiali:
Wu was born in Fushun City, Liaoning Province, China in 1963. He was graduated from the Art Department of Fushun Education Institute in 1994. He is a member of Liaoning Artists Society and a committee member of the Fushun Art Association. He is currently a professional artist.
2001 Artwork “Saxophone” was awarded with the outstanding award in China Art Fair.
2002-2003 Artwork “Harvest of Autumn” was selected to be exhibited in Beijing Art Fair.
2004 Artwork “Melody of Autumn” was selected to be exhibited and awarded with outstanding prize.
2004-2006 Many artworks were showcased in Shanghai Art Fair.
2007 Artwork “Festival” was nominated in Liaoning Youth Artist Exhibition.
2008 His solo exhibition was held in Shanghai Wan Fung Art Gallery
2009 His works "Peace Star" & "Song of Heart" won the Outstanding Award in the Liaoning Art Exhibition.
2011 His solo oil-painting exhibition tour was first launched in 2011, by Shanghai Wan Fung Art Gallery.
2012 The third leg of the touring exhibition will be held in Hong Kong Wan Fung Art Gallery in May 2012.
Many artworks of Wu were collected by art collectors locally and abroad.
